The Short Story Competition “En mi verso soy libre” is a narrative award aimed at boys and girls between 6 and 17 years old who are in a situation of illness. It is organized by the Hospital and Home Educational Care Team of the Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Education and Universities of the Region of Murcia. It is a project to encourage reading and writing with which we aim to awaken a passion for reading, encourage literary writing and develop the creative and communicative skills of students of compulsory school age who are hospitalized or convalescing at home.

From Lorca Marín we collaborate by making it possible for the winners of the competition to come and collect their prize with their families. In recent years, due to Covid, it has not been possible to hold the Awards Ceremony, so we have done our bit so that all participants in the competition receive their prizes and a souvenir.
